Supremacy

Supremacy was founded in 2004 by brothers Frank and Jan Arne Iberg, Tommy Lorentzen and Kenneth Abrahamsen. Their mission: To create classic heavy metal mixed with modern progressive metal music. All members of the band has been around and involved in the metal scene in Norway for a long time an are extremely experienced musicians. Frank, Jan Arne and Tommy which represent the rhythm section in the band has been forging their metal bonds stronger and stronger over the past 20 years through bands like Rat Salad, Lazy Jones and Tommy & Tigerne. Wanting to move along to a more challenging way musically, they joined forces with singer Kenneth Abrahamsen, well known for his work as a lead composer and guitarist in one of the pioneer black metal bands in Norway, Mactatüs. Kenneth laid down his six-string axe in Mactatüs top fully concentrate on the work as the vocalist in Supremacy. His full, rich and mysteriously coloured voice is highly reminicent of vocal legends like Geoff Tate, Midnight, Roy Khan and Ray Alder. The rock solid riff section of brothers Frank and Jan Arne Iberg makes the perfect ground base for guitar virtousa Tommy Lorentzen to beautifully and frenzy shred up and down his fretboard, letting everyone again experience the fact that there must be ”something in the water in Norway.” Supremacy delivers the same perfect exquisit metal expression as Norwegian colleagues Kamelot, Pagan´s Mind and Dimmu Borgir in deed!
