Metal Pirates

The idea of Metal Pirates was born when guitarist and singer Chris Damien Doll (ex-Trashcan Darlings, Suicide Bombers, Ronny Pøbel), guitarist Jack Roger Olsen (Highland Glory), bass player Alf Inge "Affen" Eitrheim (ex-Cat Eye) and drummer Morten Færøvig (Highland Glory) discovered that they all shared the same passion for one of the greatest metal bands of all time - Running Wild! And since they realized they already had a complete line up comprising of genuine die hard fans, they decided to pay tribute and honour captain Rock n Rolf and his legacy of pirate metal hymns. The stage names and set list was quickly discussed, and Rock n Dollf, Calico Jack, Affen Störtebecker and AC Morty, collectively known as Metal Pirates, will be rehearsing for their live debut as Norways very first Running Wild tribute band at this years Rebel Heart Rock Festival. Ready for boarding!
